Returns

Your shopping experience is important to us. Please take a moment to read our returns policy. You are strongly encouraged to read the entire policy. It will only take a few minutes.

Our returns policy is designed to ensure that you have the best shopping experience possible! Any item purchased from KaryKase can be returned for an exchange or full refund. You can return any defective purchases to us within 30 days of purchase. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Returns will be collected at no cost to you!

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Please retain the original packaging as well.

We, unfortunately, do not allow returns for Gift cards.

If the item you are returning was a gift, then the details and confirmation from the original purchaser are required.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer – we will deal with manufacturers on your behalf as part of our service to you.

Please note that any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be eligible for return. Also, note that any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery will also not qualify for a free return

Large bags

Please note that large luggage bags will only qualify for a free return if the bags have a defect.

International orders

International orders will also be eligible for returns and refunds but the shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a payment made into your method of payment or bank account, within 21 working days from the day the item is received.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at store@karykase.co.za.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at store@karykase.co.za.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over R800, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Repairs

We do not provide in-house repair services. If you have a damaged product you need repaired you may contact us and we will communicate with the distributor or manufacturer on whether the item can be repaired or not. Not all damaged products can be repaired.

Some repairs are free and some come at a cost. You will be informed of any costs that you may incur before the repair is done. Sending of the product for repairs is at the customers cost as well as the return of the product. We will therefore charge and invoice you for any costs arising from the repair and or the shipping of the product.

Please note that repairs have a lead time of 3-6 weeks.
